I was thinking this morning about what I should make a post about on here and I was talking to my younger sister that if she went onto a beauty blog and I thought I would do a things you need to have and know when you start wearing makeup.
So here's my list of things I think you need for when you first start wearing makeup.
Moisturiser- I think this is so important. I use Nivea Soft every night. I recommend this if you have dull skin. This is when your complexion could properly be more radiant or for normal skin. This could work for dry skin but I am not to sure. Before buying a moisturiser you need to work out what skin type you have. You might be able to tell straight away but if you're not to sure there are plenty of questionnaires online which will help! If you still aren't to sure try baby lotion! If it works for skin as delicate as a babies it should work for you.
Products- Work out the products you want to wear. I recommend that you start wearing light makeup first because your skin isn't used to it so if you wear heavy makeup straight away then you WILL develop a lot of spots. Don't start to wear makeup to cover up spots. You should know that this will only make your spots worse.
Colour- Get the right colour for your skin tone. If you are getting blusher, bronzer, foundation, bb cream, concealer or even eye makeup. If you are pale skinned you do not want dark makeup. You really do have to get the right colour for your skin tone. People WILL slag you off about it if you are orange.
And hey have fun with your makeup. Experiment. It can always come off!
